I went for interviews today... since the festive period is going to be over and NOEL won't need so many part time workers, i guess i'm going to be jobless soon which means i need those interviews in order to look for another job...
First interview was 10am at JAC which is located at Tanjong Pagar. Mingyan and i got lost... BUT, we managed to sniff our way there.
We were first separated and ushered into different rooms. Honestly, the names of the rooms were ridiculous la... Mingyan's room was called "st andrew's" It's ridiculous to me in the sense that imagine you're working there and you want to meet a client in the room... you'll tell the client "Ok! i shall meet you at St andrew's. You go there and have a seat first." The client will definitely looked mootoofoodoo at you and don't understand wth is going on right... Why can't they just simplify things and call the rooms room 2 or 3? Anyway, i got bored in the room and decided to draw up the curtains to have a better view. However, the sun was too glaring and i drew the curtains down again in case the sunray is too piercing to the interviewer. How considerate...
Less than 10 minutes later, i was ushered into St andrew's (i can't remember the name of my room) to be interviewed together with Mingyan. we had two interviewers who looked immaculately dressed and groomed. I bet the male interviewer plucked his eyebrows... it's none of my concern but then ya... it was my first time being formally interviewed for a job so naturally, i could feel the stress... In my opinion, i did pretty ok for the first time except that i was crossing my legs and uncrossing them again and again cause i was nervous ma... and i hit the CPU located in front of me... The interviewers mentioned to us that we had to take note of our postures and body languages and be more prepared in future. Otherwise, we were ok and appeared sincere. Like duh~ Who won't appear sincere when they are in need of a job...
after that, we took mrt to the west--jurong east for another interview by recruitexpress. The interviewer asked whether we're keen to work in the west. definitely no no la! so damn far away... waste of time and travel expenses...
