Went to TM this afternoon cos i cldn't stand staying at home. Wasn't in a mood to study either. ARGH!!!! I can predict i will die a horrible death during JCTs. I've barely studied all the mountain of topics to be covered. *pulls my hair* My life is a misery.
I saw Bryan Wong at TM. He was the host for sum shisedo (did i spell correctly) event. Sum beautifying centre thingy. Wahahaha!! I realised tt it's quite terrible to shop at TM on sundays. If u wanna hang out at TM on sunday, be prepared to jostle wif the crowd. Plus u'll haf to walk slower than a tortoise since there's a crowd in front of u n no matter wat u do, the crowd stays. Also, u haf to look down constantly to prevent bumping into little children. If u accidentally bumped into them, remember to mutter 'sorry' before leaving if not their parents will glare at u till their eyes pop out frm their sockets. These r the tips to survive a weekend shopping. :P
I went to Chinatown for dinner. It's a pretty sad thing to see Chinatown rather lack of activities since it's supposedly to be a tourist attraction. There was a lion dance performance but i tink it din contribute much to lift up the spirits of Chinatown. I walked past sum shopping complexes n discovered tt many shops had wound up. Lack of business perhaps? It's true tt young ppl do not frequent Chinatown. We associate Chinatown as 'cheena' as it name suggests. Perhaps the tourism board shld revamp the place. Make part of chinatown a hip n happening place for young ppl to chill out n at the samt time preserve traditional shops so tt we wun forget our roots. Howeva, it's easier said than done.
I was having dinner at this chinese restaurant when all of a sudden, a looney man burst into the restayrant n left us rather startled. He was shouting at a waitress n demanded her to return the money she had owed him. Erm... he claimed tt waitress owed him money. As i've mentioned earlier, he's no exactly very sane. It's a fortune tt he din get rowdy n start beating up the nearest person he came across. (neway, we were pretty near him) :P The looney man walked past a patron. The patron was so freaked out by the mad man tt he took his bag n ran off. Wahaha!! The patron was a male n it was pretty funnie to see a man so petrified n dash off wif his bag. :0
Afterwhich, we continued strolling at chinatown. Saw sum acrobats performing. enjoying the light breeze. Admiring the colourful lights. Intrigued by sum rather interesting traditional shops. At tt point in time, i realised tt Chinatown is not bad after all. . .
