Guitar camp

Day 1

We had a 'great' time doing PT. WTH!! It's supposed to be a discipline camp u c. So, we got punished for things tt we din do properly or obey. We were late by few mins n had to do push-ups as punishment. Those not properly attired, we were punished as a club as well. Sum din do the exercises (push-ups) properly, we were given more punishments to do. At the end of the day, i gained nth but muscle aches everywhere on my body. My knees r scraped n brusied cos of the pushups done which my delicate knees had to be subjected to friction against the oh so rough floor. Wet games were fun. We really got drenched. My underwear was soaking wet. :P though i mus admit, it was nice playing in the rain although im not a fan of rainy days. After wet games, we had more PT to do. We had to clear the humongous number of push ups accumulated. Did lotsa crunches, sit ups, dips, jumping jacks n pumpings till i lost count of god noes how many times i did. It was a thorough exercise indeed. Guitar concert was pretty ok. Nite games was quite fun. We were supposed to solve a murder case. But, we kinda got all the names of the characters confused up cos the names were in japanese. Long n confusing names.

Day 2
Had to meet at ECP at freaking 7.30 am. Had to drag my tired n brusied soul out of bed. The hike was horribly tiring. It's torturous. We hiked like 3/4 of singapore i tink. No bus, we were back to primitive mode of transportation n tt is to walk. We walked all the way to roxy square, singapore post, kallang mrt, esplanade, tanjong pagar, harbour front, labrador park, ikea, tiong bahru. I cant believe tha fact tt i cld walk such a long distance. i tink i missed out sum places since i haf goldfish memory... but ya...tt's basically how far we walked. At the end of the day, i cld vision my legs rotting up to my knees. EYeeW!! My poor legs. There was supposed to be competition btw all the guitar grpa but since my grp started off the last n there wasn't ani grp chasing after us, we din haf the motivation to walk fast. Haha!! So, we took our own sweet time walking n completing the whole hike. N guess wat... we actually had our lunch at pasta mania in suntec. There reflects how 'motivated' we were. :P

Day 3
Ah... It's all the interviews n stuff... I tink i wasted my youth ytd. Spent like freaking 10 hrs in sch doing nth. But congrats to Janice n vanessa for being the president n vice pred respectively. Congrats to u guys! My predictions were correct. Congrats to Huixian too for being the CI. Wow!! Guitar club rox!!

Im suffering frm post guitar camp symptoms. Hai~ I've been feeling lethargic for the whole day... sleep sleep sleep...

There's lotsa procedures involved in buying a house. Gotta engage a lawyer to get procedures done. N it wld be ur misfortune if u get a unprincipled lawyer to help get procedures done.The story goes like this.. The lawyer din tell us properly tt we had to pay this certain procedure fee. We were suppposed to get out keys on wed. It was a clearly a mistake on his part since we haf black-and-white documents to prove tt he din tell us anything abt the fee. So, there was a delay in getting out keys n due to the delay, that is a penalty fee incurred. The damn idiotic lawyer told us to pay the penalty fee. My aunt argued tt we shldn't pay since it wasn't our fault. N guess wat.. The lawyer insisted it wasn't his fault. N we shld pay for the darn penalty fees. He was blabberring non stop over the phone which left my aunt absolutely no chance to rebut. When he finally finished n it was supposedly my aunt's turn to argue, he hung up the phone. WTH!!

N the damn lawyer also said tt if we dun pay the penalty fees, we shant get out keys. He's clearly threatening us wif the keys of the hse. WTH!! Another jaw dropping statement he made was tt he said tt if we arent happie n stuff we r welcummed to sue him... Wat an idiot! GO EAT SHIT!! He's abusing his position as a lawyer. Doesn't he find it funnie for us to engage a lawyer to sue a lawyer? i tink he's going cuckoo or sth. He was clearly his fault n he's acting as though he's not at fault. So arrogant summore. To sum it up, this is an example of a despicable measure. I feel like telling him straight in the face to eat shit n read btw the lines. WTH!! Wat kind of shit lawyer is this? He belongs in the toilet bowl instead... Of cos im in a state of high indignation... ... Where is his principles? I tink he lost it while being sucked into the shithole. WTH!!

So, this incident serves as an eye opener to me. Even though u may haf a smooth sailing life, a wondrous career n u r the envy of others. The truth is, u r nth without ur principles. It's worse if u abuse ur position n stuff. In the eyes of others, u may look impressive but then ur conscience is wounded when u resort to despicable measures. When u haf done wrong, jus admit tt u r in the wrong. I wld choose to put my career in jeopardy then go against my conscience. Plus hello, it's jus few hundred bucks n im sure tt a high paying lawyer shld be able to afford. treat it as paying to learn frm a mistake n not make the same mistake again. If onli the lawyer can understand... ...
