Tomorrow will be back-to-work!
I'm currently working at IMM which is located at west of Singapore. Coincidentally, i live at pasir Ris which is again coincidentally located at the extreme end, east of Singapore. Isn't this more shocking than watching horror movie??
Don't worry. My dad coincidentally works at IMM too so i can get a lift to my workplace. what am i working as? I'm working as a salesperson, selling computers. Which brand? ACER. Coincidentally, the laptop i'm using now is also ACER!! wow!
I was told that sometimes salesperson has to lie in order to 'sell' their products and raise their commission. So, do i or do i not? I hope that i won't land in a situation that demands me to lie. Lying is wicked!
On the other hand, we live in a materialistic, superficial, competitive world. It's not as though i don't understand why salespersons lie... On a fundamental level, everyone lies. Why can't they?
Since everyone lies, and lies are classified as 'white' and 'black'. I'll set myself a boundary. I can only tell a white lie and that's it. Innocent lie that doesn't hurt... pricks a little but see no blood. Am i making sense? whatever.
Just strive to do my best to up commissions and SMILE! We live in a superficial world anyway. A smile doesn't mean i like the person. It's just another facial expression.
Hope i won't meet anal customers. Ok! That's like deceiving myself to believe a completely impossible thing....
The 'S' rules to follow...
S for smile
S for suppress my foul temper
S for summarised features of the products
S for sweet (act sweet and innocent la... so that the chances of my boss flaring at me will be minimised.)
S for saint (calm and cool)
The good thing about working so far away is that the odds of me bumping into someone i know is greatly reduced. Most of my friends live in the East. Even if i do something embarrassing, it's ok. Nobody will remember hazel from the east anyway... LAUGH!! wish me luck tomorrow. My legs are going to break...
